Beethoven Sonata No. 10 in G Op. 14/2
on: July 19, 2008, 10:34:54 PM
Hello!

Last week i had to give a student recital at the conservatory where i study and i played Beethoven's Sonata No. 10 in G Op. 14 no. 2.

If it's possible i'd like to hear any comments, feedback, constructive criticism, advice, anything.

I was given this sonata to study in march, and i believe i studied it okay, please know that I have been playing the piano since may of 2006, so about 2 years and 2 months, so this sonata was a big struggle for me.

Also, i only uploaded the 1st two movements. In the 3rd movement i got nervous, messed up really bad, and am not happy with how it turned out!!  :-[

here are the videos

1st mov.

2nd mov.

Hello,
i've listened only the 1st movement and it's a nice work but it's too slow. It's allegro don't forget.
And try to put more feelings into your music, for now it's too academic and u seem too worried and struggled to really live your music ;)

Keep posting ;)

PS : too bad for the cop's or ambulance's sirens  :(
Currently woking on :
- 8 fantaisiestucke op.12 (Schumann)
- Nocturnes op.27 n°1&2 (Chopin)
