“The Sound Always Comes First” — Andrea Bonatta on Teaching Liszt

Why tone matters more than speed, why reading Goethe matters as much as practising octaves, and how a single insight can transform a performance. Italian pianist and scholar Andrea Bonatta has spent decades exploring the contradictions of Franz Liszt, from performer to man of faith, virtuoso to poet. afaik, Paderewski edition is only for Chopin so you might want to re-think your options.
Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.

An option for none of the above would be good.

I can not vote for any of the ones listed as to falsely lead people that Edition X is always better.  I have never found such to be true, even from highly regarded publishers.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

When I say this, I do mean which of these options do you prefer. I should have reworded the question.

I think Urtext or Peters is quite good as these "overall"-sheets, but it's still not good to only get Urtext. As someone said - Paderewski is the one edition for chopin, but nothing else.

Considering your rewording, I would still vote none of the above.
