Thread expiration date?
on: August 10, 2008, 06:36:11 PM
Does a person's posts ever get dropped?
Will Bernhard's posts (etc.) ever get deleted due to some sort of forum cap or will they be preserved?

As far as my experience goes, I've never seen a post get dropped. It would be a shame if Bernhard's posts ever got deleted.

If you look back to the first ever posts, they're dated to 2004. Posts don't get dropped, they only get deleted if the moderators think they are breaking the rules.

According to our current policies no posts or topics get dropped except those which are deleted for breaking the forum rules. I can't of course say anything for sure about the future but our plans are to preserve at least all valuable content in some form for the future.
The first posts ever are BTW from September 2001.
