Piano Street Magazine:
Wagner’s Universe in a Pianist’s Hands

One of the most thrilling performances offered at Cremona Musica this year was the Wagner by Liszt recital given by Filippo Tenisci – Italian pianist, born 1998 and celebrated for his refined interpretations and expressive mastery of the Romantic repertoire. After his recital we got the chance talking to Tenici about his Wagner/Liszt project. Read more

Could any one suggest me a good, free spybot remover that both scans and destroys?
My computer recently had been bombarded with these pesky problems.
Thanks

I use both adaware and "spybot search and destroy", and I still get pop ups and stuff every day... I don't know how to get rid of them. One that is especially annoying is a search bar called "Ping second" that adds itself to my explorer toolbar and won't go away. Even if I remove it from my toolbar, it reappears a few seconds later. Another one that reappears every day is "Ncase". If anyone can help me get rid of these I'd be forever grateful and willing to send you some of the rare sheet music/ recordings I have.

The way I ususally find out how to get rid of that kind of stuff is a little googling.  I searched just for "Ncase" and the second result is a page with instructions for removal.  https://www.pchell.com/support/ncase.shtml

I couldn't find anything with "ping second", but I'm sure there's info about it somewhere.

Well I already tried that, and it didn't work. It keeps coming back.

Okay, here's another idea.  The registry keys in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER may not be the only copies in the registry.  Open regedit and copy the name of the key associated with Ncase.  Click the "edit" tab and select "find" then paste the key name in there and search.  If you find more duplicates, delete them of course.

Ad-aware and spybot is software to find spyware and other tracking stuff. It's not really for killing pop ups. Absoluteshield internet eraser does kill pop ups. It works for me.

Piano Street Magazine:
Women and the Chopin Competition: Breaking Barriers in Classical Music

The piano, a sleek monument of polished wood and ivory keys, holds a curious, often paradoxical, position in music history, especially for women. While offering a crucial outlet for female expression in societies where opportunities were often limited, it also became a stage for complex gender dynamics, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark. From drawing-room whispers in the 19th century to the thunderous applause of today’s concert halls, the story of women and the piano is a narrative woven with threads of remarkable progress and stubbornly persistent challenges.
