They're giving out free airline tickets within next few days. Scam? yes? no?

Here in Europe plane-tickets are often very low prized...  Like 'for free', there are a lot of lowprice companies in Europe.  Nothing to feel uncomfortable about.  I don't know about Asian Aircompanies but I would'nt be tempted to 'buy' a free ticket from a Russian or Middle-African company.  Their planes crash way more than other planes, I'm not that adventurous...  Quality standards in Europe are rather high.  Of course there has been the Concorde, and more recently the Madrid-crash (and a certain threat of terrorism), but in general American and European planes are safe and in a lot of cases cheap.  Of course, the cheapest tickets are the ones that bring you from nowhere to nowhere...  A ticket from one financial capital to another is rather expensive, or from London to an exotic destinations, Bangkok, New Zealand, Australia etcetera is unfortunately expensive.
