The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

Sorry but not quite there yet.
Blurry pedal... articulation and clarity lacking. Give it more musical reflexion, it is not a mere fingers exercise.

I like it.  Especially how you controlled the ending.

I feel the lack of clarity due to the recording rather than the playing.  You could do more to intensify dynamic contrast.  More pp and ff.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Thank you both for your time. Indeed the quality of the recording is not good.

Of course it's not perfect yet - but I tend to disagree with the points you make. "Clarity": the melody line comes out clear enough I think, "articulation" is to be avoided in this etude IMO if you want to make the 16ths soft as possible, "fingers exercise" seems a little contradictory: if I played it as a finger exercise I would do more articulation but the again..... :) Please specify

Well, articulation should not be taken in its litteral sense.
Anyway, I might have sounded harsh in my criticism and aI apologize about that. There's also the point that the piano you play on in that video is not  a great one, an upright if my memory's not playing tricks with me, so nuances are difficult to render. It's the kind of pice that's all about nuances. So my idea of 'articulation and clarity' is about each note being played clearly and in the right dynamics and emphasis. That's the part I lack to hear in your interpretation.
