The ‘S’ series is Yamaha’s finest line of professional, studio-built pianos. Built by hand in Japan, this is not Yamaha’s “assemblyline” piano. Crafted by professionals, each part of the instrument is installed by hand.

Unlike many retro-fitted pianos the state-of-the-art Mark IV Disklavier unit is integrated at time of manufacture. For 3 years it has graced our home, serenading our guests at dinner parties and at family gatherings during the holidays.

This model features two WiFi tablets, one large (no longer manufactured) and one hand-held portable device. The 80GB on-board hard drive is loaded with thousands of piano works from the great classics to chamber music to pop, Broadway, commercial CD’s with piano accompaniments, Christmas carols and beyond.

This piano is equal to, if not better than those found in concert halls around the world and is constructed for concert performers. The Disklavier component does not interfere with the fine craftsmanship of this instrument and only enhances the owners ability to enjoy the instrument year round when a pianist is not readily available.
