copied some very interesting archive recordings (speech) from open-reel tape to CD.
Had not been used for 40 years but still worked. Also had some very rare speech (me when i was 2).
doggy in and out
Got up -- no, more like startled awake -- at 4 am, by the sound of some dog yapping. Went outside, and it was Karli's dog, tramping all over my petunia bed. Yelled at it and shooed it away, but noticed I'd stepped in doggy doo. (Thanks, Karli, and good morning to you, too. You and Toto are going over that rainbow together if you wake me this early again!)p.s. stopped by thal's workplace at lunchtime to see if he wanted to grab a pint with me, but he was already passed out under his desk. My day so far: A NO FUN-ZONE DAY.
Tomorrow I must get up at 4am to catch an early flight.
wake up get some vodka as an " early morning starter" call in sick for work than go play golf
6, run to lab, take care of bacteria, run home, go running, realize I have no energy because I'm trying a low carb diet, walking home, eating jam, cleaning apartment, eating eggs/sausage/cheese for breakfast.
Practicing w/headphones on my Roland digital in the garage
I moved my piano into the garage a couple of years ago and it was a great idea. I can practice anytime i want to and can have the volume switched up high. The only downside was when i stopped practicing a family of earwigs moved in and started eating it.Thal
