Things are improving in UK as some of the immigrants are starting to go home.

Doesn't that imply that their home countries are more secure, so they're better off there?

Thal was only referring to Scotsmen chasing off to France.

Please stop bashing him.

But, on topic, if you think things are bad now, wait six months.  You ain't seen nuthin.  And, if you're European or otherwise, pray for a Democratic Party victory in the US.  I know, I know, you guys are over us, and I can't blame you, but we were very helpful in bringing this disaster to your door by showing you the way to capitalize on greed.  (And you were very good students.)  But, you better hope our leadership changes, or it's THE END TO CIVILIZATION AS YOU'VE KNOWN IT.

We're global now, y'all, and we all hang together.  And I do mean "hang."

Good, then things might finally start to work out. People will be equal regardless of faith, gender or race and poverty, hunger will be erased and more purdy things  :D

Never heard of it.

A Hintonational crisis.
Likewise, this must be about some other A Hinton.

For the record and for the avoidance of doubt, I am not personally relocating to France for some time, if only for the simple but rather important reason that I have nowhere to go there yet.

We're still OK here. One of the banks looks like it will have a severe downsizing and the others are sniffing around it. Jobs and houses seem a little harder to find as well but other than that nothing serious yet...On the upside, fuel has gone down 6 cents as of today!

Although I have recently moved location, this particular immigrant remains in England for the time being. Sorry about that (if I need to be).

Thal
Assuming you to mean the present decade, that will largely depend on two things - firstly how the money stretches and secondly whether you consider the decade to end at the close of next year or on 31 December 2010 (and I can tell you that I'll not be out by the end of next year, for sure - sorry if that disappoints you).

No, I am just glad they are going home.

I could start a big role of logic considerations by a classical aproach that would lead us to conclude your opinion as xenophobic beginning on what you just said, but I'll leave it to who has time for it and jump to the same conclusion.

Methinks that Thal doth repeat himself in so saying - and if Mr Moore's archive is indeed relocating to France, that's all very interesting but it's nothing to do with me.

No, that's just evident.  Scholarship is going fine, thanks, though yours seem really really stunning if you're not capable of seeing what's evident.

Perhaps you should write a book as you obviously have considerable literary gifts.

The classical approach to Xenophobia?

Or perhaps

How to make a pratt out of yourself on pianostreets?

You are wasting your time with me, so i don't know why you don't just drop whatever problem you have with my posts and go and amaze someone else with your wisdom.
