Rachmaninov concert no2: piano solo transcription?
on: October 21, 2008, 02:49:41 PM
I would love to 'play around' with a rachmaninov pianoconcert, but after checking the local libraries it already starts becoming unplayable since the rest of the orchestra seems to have alot of the melodies.

So my question is: Is there a piano solo-transcription for any of the pianoconcerts, and if the answer is yes, could anybody mail it to me?

thanks in advance,

I have a piano duet of it...not quite what you are looking for. Not sure if there is a piano solo.
The duet is 94 pages long, which I think includes all three movements. Mail me about it.
Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 3...Monumental!

There are at least two solo versions, both massively copyrighted and equally worthless.

You are best just to mess with the original. Some pieces should be left alone.

They are far from complete, from what I remember. Just get the 2 piano reduction and mess with what you have in front of you.
