Could someone play this piece I wrote?
on: October 25, 2008, 11:09:39 AM
I was wondering if someone here on this forum could record this piece I wrote for piano:

https://www.myspace.com/bcbrain

It's called Back to 17th

I play guitar and compose and play just very little piano.
If someone think they're technical sufficient enough and could record this song.. then thank you very very much!

Thanks so much in advance,
Fredrik

Notes? It sounds difficult but I'd have a look at the notes and see if I might be able to pull it off.
Working on:
Beethoven - Waldstein Sonata
Bach - C minor WTC I
Liszt - Liebestraume no. 3
Chopin - etude 25-12

Cool, what format do you want the notes in? Sib5, midi or pdf?  :)

By the way, nice job of faking the "Canon Rock"! (You and about a dozen other guitarists all use the same track and "finger synch" to it.)

I'm curious about what the idea of the music is.  The midi performance was on the slow side and sounded more like a piano study than music.  Then there are the chorale-like intermezzos that separate the arpeggios sections.  I'm not sure I understand the music because there are numerous competing ideas that don't seem to make sense in such sudden contrasts.

A score would be very helpful.

Take Your Seat! Trifonov Plays Brahms in Berlin

“He has everything and more – tenderness and also the demonic element. I never heard anything like that,” as Martha Argerich once said of Daniil Trifonov. To celebrate the end of the year, the star pianist performs Johannes Brahms’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko on December 31. Piano Street’s members are invited to watch the livestream. Read more
