Wow, thank you both for your responses. I have some questions:
There were some good moments in there .. The parts with fury would probably have sounded better if the recording didn't clip as much.
Are there any moments in particular that stand out? I need to gather these together and keep them handy for future improvs! Also, how can I keep it from clipping?
Hi, Java,
I am listening to this as I type. My first impression as I listen is that you have an extremely rich and powerful musical mind, and that, coupled with a kind of burning musical desire, is seemingly the foundation to what I hear being expressed in your improv/playing (I hope you don't mind me saying it).
Thank you! I think my mind can be fairly powerful, but not that rich (I only used 6-7 chords in this improv, because I don't know any others

). Just out of curiosty, what was your final impression of the whole thing?
It seems to me that you have actually a very generous character, probably in many ways. With that in mind, and the fact that I believe I read at an earlier time in your post that this is one of your first recorded improvs, I very much look forward to hearing more from you.
I don't understand what you mean by "a generous character" - can you expand on this? Also, while this is one of my first recorded improvs, I recorded it about a month ago - I realized I might be giving people the impression this was something recorded several years ago.
There seems to me a kind of inescapable tragedy embedded within the inspirational concept for this improv. It is very convincing to me, so much so that I would absolutely love to hear something from you in complete contrast as well.
Thanks for posting this

. I don't have anything in complete contrast at the moment (I am thinking of holding off making many more improv recordings until I get a better quality recorder/piano).
