Hi Kylie,

You are doing fine.     Your remark on the other thread is on target, though.  It sounds like you are struggling a bit.  And there is the main problem you should think about. 

The main theme sounds quite lovely.  The variations, I think in general could be much more fluid and playful.  Much of it sounds too careful--so think about Mozart composing and playing his own music--how would he play those humorous grace notes that cross over?  In the 1st (I think?) var, think phrasing in the melody.  Same with the var with triplets in the LH.  The triplets are the accompaniment, so keep them a little subdued and bring out melody.

The final variation is your weakest, as I get very little sense of continuity of line.  You seem to be changing tempo and unsure of yourself.  Your last couple of bars sound more like "Am I at the end?  Oh yeah, I am, thank goodness!"  When it ought to be "Here's the finish, didn't you love it, Ta Dum!"   

It's very, very difficult to get Mozart with the right balance of grace and beauty of line, without sounding too delicate or careful, or on the other hand, too adamant.  You have a great start, now listen closely to yourself and think about how you want it to sound.  Listen to a good recording or two also. 

Once you are completely comfortable with notes and steady tempo, LET GO and have fun!
