Sorry...my bad! lol  ::) :-X

Oh god...WHY do Americans say that? Why can't you say "Sorry...I am bad!"? "My bad" doesn't make sense!

Oops!! I accidentally gave you a negative...my bad!

It makes sense because it's like saying I made a bad move, decision, or it was an accident.  It's something I would say if I accidentally gave my Russian friend baijiu when he had asked for vodka.  I'm not saying that I'm a bad person, I'm just admitting that I screwed up.

Why not just say that then? You honestly sound stupid when you say "My bad" because it is not technically correct.

Oh, so now you're calling me stupid? Honestly, I don't really say it that much...Seriously.

No, you misinterpretated me. Or perhaps it was how I worded it. You should just use proper, correct, coherent language so the majority of members understand you clearly. (Proper English, in other words).

No I didn't...I was being sarcastic...And don't talk to me about proper English...My dad is constantly on us about grammar.
BTW, the majority of members probably know what I meant by "my bad".

I understand what she meant...probably because half of Australia says it too.

If people are posting in a thread that is entitled "yo gabba gabba!", I don't think that they are going to be taking themselves very seriously.

See, Paige and I understand each other.  I mean, most of my friends would say that I'm a fairly serious person. So I'm relieved to see that Australians also say "my bad" as well--if it's good enough for them, then it's good enough for me.  Here's to Australia and America, two great countries.

God bless,
Raul
