Topic: Could you plase tell me your opinions about this piece and the pianist?  (Read 1707 times)

The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

I really didn't like it. I thought it looked funny when he pounded the piano. I just can't enjoy this...as for the pianist i don't like his hair.  :-X

er i didn't get the first bit kinda like me when i'm feeling pretty hyper and wierd but when he acctually started playing it wasn't too bad a tad repetitive maybe and his hair is awful (but i can't complain as i look like a rolling stone from the early 70's)

This is just like a cheap rock remake of Ginastera and other rhythmic composers, sort of like what Keith Emerson and other keyboard hacks would do. It it horribly chichéd and uninspired. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of thought that went into it. That and his stage appearance prevents me from taking anything he does seriously. You don't have a good track record of posting anything of value here, so just stop now.
