Very well. This is your choice. You are aware of the forum rules, aren't you?

When posting…

Try as far as possible to keep to the topic. The discussions are sometimes naturally drifting away from the initial topic. In this case it is preferable to start a new topic but with a referral to the previous topic in the first post

Do not post if you have nothing valuable to add to the discussion. R efrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.

Do not bump threads. Bumping can refer to posting useless information, making corrections or updates in a new post, posting one-liners or any other action to deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its forum.

Do not post just to increase your number of posts. The number of posts on this board has no relation to the experience of a member.

Do not post to instruct users to check their e-mail, check their PM, or inform them that they've got mail or a new PM, or any variant thereof.

Take the "Be Polite" rule very seriously! While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be banned without warning. As a general rule of thumb do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you are typing up a response you feel is clever and spiteful, rethink your post.

There are the the rules regarding the forum replying.

Ok there's that one...it is my thread though so should be able to talk about whatever I damn well please :P

See above.

Aww but it's so much fun...Tim von Hofman anyone? :P

I am not posting solely to increase my post count so stick that one where it fits.
Do not post to instruct users to check their e-mail, check their PM, or inform them that they've got mail or a new PM, or any variant thereof.
Can't remember ever doing that one...

Well that one's shot to bits then LOL

So basically I'm in definite violation of 1 and technical violation of 2 rules. Lovely.

So you are now questioning the rules that the admin and moderators set out for this forum? It may have escaped your knowledge, but they weren't put there solely for you...it concerns everyone.

You may want to go off-topic, and others with you. However, other members might feel that this is a pointless thread that is cluttering the forums. Please consider other members before you being listing what you have and haven't done.

Thank you,

I was just working out which rules I was violating. Yeah never would have figured that one out...
Anyways since we have to stay on topic what is everyone's current post count? I want to combine them and see how much the active members have posted out of the total. And yes I am aware the post count is inaccurate! This is for something to think about at TAFE tomorrow instead of sleeping.

Actually, no. It is only the forum statistics that are not up-to-date. Everyone's post count number (which is located under your username) is always up-to-date.

So the total post count for the entire forum (30000+) is accurate then?
Huh. Never noticed that before. How long has the count been there?
Is anyone else's PSF pages loading up slowly?

Yes, it was. However, it moved to this site which is running from SMF and don't make me go into all this because it's all complicated and I'm still waking up...lol
