i found those arm movements way worse than the tempo. If that was my teacher I would be barfing over crusts of hardened dish residue.

I find the thing he does with his mouth very annoying. It looks very silly, and doesn't make the sound any better. Atleast the arm movments Could make it sound better, even if it doesn't, but nothing he does with his mouth can change the sound at all. >.<

I dont find it as disturbing as the rest of you guys. Ofcourse, he behaves like a complete idiot while playing it, but when purely listening to it, its not bad at all.

Listening to it is not bad at all???? Have you actually listened to it? It's awful! He doesn't even play the first 8 chords in time! It's totally out of time, and his melody is full of random accents and it has no phrasing! Try and imagine an orchestra playing it like that....i'm sure you would not say it's not bad at all then.

Er, it's a bit eccentric and I'm not sure what Prokofiev would have made of some of the rubato, but apart from the completely nuts arm-waving (strikes me as pure showing off or the sort of thing I do to amuse myself when I think no one is watching in opera rehearsals!) it's decent enough piano playing.
Instrumentalists are all wannabe singers. Discuss.

If somebody has a different interpretation than you have, it doesnt mean its a bad one. I didnt play this piece like he did (especially not the armwaving  :P ), but classical music would become rather boring if everybody played it exactly the same way.

I believe somewhere in the comments section for this piece, Sandro basically says that he plays it however the hell he wants to for his own taste, being an amateur.

That said, I generally think it is not so good, although the middle section is better than the rest.

Who is it?
Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.
