Reliable source for Clara Schumann quotes?
on: December 17, 2008, 03:23:39 PM
Wikipedia claims she have said "I once believed that I possessed creative talent, but I have given up this idea; a woman must not desire to compose — there has never yet been one able to do it. Should I expect to be the one?"
Anyone know where I can find substantial evidence for this quote for an essay?
