I. Kapustin, Piano Manufacturer
on: December 20, 2008, 06:09:13 AM
Trying to track down the age of a vintage Price and Teeple upright I discovered at a Masonic Lodge this evening, I came across the following entry in Cyril Ehrlich's "The Piano", under Russian manufacturers, p.217.

Kapustin, I. fl. 1916.

A further internet search turned up nothing about a piano maker I. Kapustin circa 1916; does anyone know if there's a family connection with the composer Nikolai Kapustin and this brand of piano?
