I had this software earlier in the year, but didn’t transfer it when I got my new computer several months ago, and now I really want to use it again.

It would open a midi file, and let me read through the notes. I could navigate with the arrow keys, and it’d play each note and have the note value and octave.

It was really useful for helping me to read music, so I didn’t have to rely so much on having other people read it to me for me to memorize it.

Has anyone heard of this software? I’ve searched for it extensively and can’t find it. It worked great with my screen reader, which is why I loved it so much.

Most music notation packages such as Sibelius can do this. For the time being until you find the old one you had, you could always download the trail edition of Sibelius and use that.

That's true, but I don't think my screen reader works with it.
