My very first attempt at composition. Based on a text my friend wrote for me. Not only did it inspire my first composition, but also all the poems I wrote after 2004 (the ones I used for composition ideas). So it's definitely for her. I miss her.  :'(

The March 11 Bus by cultureddirtbag (2004)

The spark is gone, the road unlit
It was the day Hope ran away to save herself
I've no idea where to look
or how to search

A goodbye kiss, a traitor's lips
It's over now so just let me walk away
It's just a big cage I'm trapped in,
my destiny

Don't worry I'll keep away
Store you in the back of my head

I'll paint your face, on the night sky
Watch it fade away, with the stirring constellations
I'll sleep away, all the coming days
It's over now and the stars are out to play

Stuttering words, splattering blood
Tracing the fine sand with shore water on the rush
I've no idea what to say
or what to write

Mind's gone blank, sanity lost
The world's no longer the playground it once was
It's just a big cage we're all in
It's alien soil

I have to save myself
before I lose the 2nd half of what's left
I'm sinking like a stone in the sea,
I'm burning like a bridge for your body
