Hi,

If anyone here has the Schirmer Edition of Liszt's Annees de Pelerinage (Suisse) with Rafael Joseffy as editor, could you please check a point for me?  On page 1 of Liszt's Vallee d'Obermann at measure 15 in the left hand, are the chords there topped by B flats or B naturals?  The Henle urtext edition and Edition Peters do show B flats (but the chords are augmented with B naturals in measure 16).  Durand and the Russian Milstein edition shows B naturals in 15.  Henle is based on the relatively recently discovered autograph edition and the original Schott Edition, and I believe Peters is based on Schott.  I'm not sure about the source Durand used though.  I'd like to know in particular what Schirmer's Joseffy edition indicates, as Joseffy worked directly and intensively with Liszt on that edition.  Thanks!

The mystery is solved.  One of the members over at Pianophilia has the Joseffy editon.  It show's B natural.

Case closed!
