Recording of Orchestra to play along with
on: January 06, 2009, 02:46:05 AM
I was at a piano store a while ago and the guy brought up something about recordings availible where orchestra part of a peice is played but the piano left out- so you could play along ;D (i.e., a piano concerto)

Does anyone know of any recordings like this, especially free ones?

Hopefully this post made sense :o

Yes, I have one of Beethoven's 1st Piano Concerto, given to me as a gift from my teacher at my senior recital.  It's called "Music Minus One".

Thanks for the link, I'm going to have to save up for one ;D
Hopefully they will add to their selection, I would like to see more Mozart concertos.
