Palmgren Opus 11 Piano Sonata
on: January 10, 2009, 10:23:49 PM
Just looking for tips and/or advice on playing this piece from those who have learnt it before. Also, does this piece work well in a concert situation?

hi, quirky!
i'm sorry, but i don't bring you any tip. i am amazed by the coincidence: i was just listening to risto lauriala's CD of palmgren's piano music.
anyway, i would like to say to you that it's a great idea playing music by this neglected composer.
about your question, i never listened to his music in a recital, but i think it can work well.
best!
