IMPROVISATION #3
on: January 15, 2009, 11:34:52 PM
And this is the third improvisation, completing the first two that I posted. It is: Rebekah, my sister. Maybe when I'm in the mood I'll do some more improvisations on other people.. but there will be for sure some more regular improvs coming.

Oh and reeeally sorry about the awkward ending with my mom coming in and talking to me. just... stop listening when you get there. It does make the ending retarded, but the rest is ok.

Peeeeace  :P

While not yet wanting to comment on the improvisations individually, it did catch my eye that your first two were nearly identical in length; and I suspect this one would be similar had it been done uninterrupted.

(Also, your improvs 1 2 & 3 all say "Improvisation #7", "#8", "#9" respectively, what happened to the first 6? :o)

yeah it's just really coincidencial that all three of them were the same length. honestly i just play until i think im finished.

as for the three improvs being named #7, 8, and 9 that's because.. first of all it's a new handheld recorder i just got and im starting to record myself playing improvs, pieces, jazz, etc. a lot of times i go straight from practicing something into an improv and so i manage to record both what i was practicing and the improv into one track. i want to keep the recording labeled as an improv and i have organized the first 9 or 10 of them so far. the ones that i have posted are pretty much the only ones that are exclusively improvs and i wanted them to be the first ones i posted.

so what did you think of the improvs themself??
