Since the jazz opposers :'( are less likely to interfere in this forum I´d like to share a take of Funny valentine that I recorded awhile ago.

so nice ideas here, i found some nice chords in it but it was a little bland, try mixing it up a little, louder and softer, faster and slower etc. Otherwise tho good job

I am a cocktail pianist after all. 8) But I agree, it´s too long with the same dynamics and textures. I´m working on developing my left hand to be as free as my right and get away from the rubato madness. Thanks for commenting. :)

petter,  I enjoyed the recording.  Very nice touch on the keyboard.  Not loud and brassy.    The very last part could've been more defined, like it didn't know where it was going; it needs something there to complete that passage.   I know Funny Valentine very well---vocally.  Thanks for sharing!    :)
