Helene Grimaud on NPR

there is a quite nice interview with Helene Grimaud on npr, along with free streams of her forthcoming album (to be released next week).

I bought her new Bach CD last month from MDT in England. Most of it is great, but the balance is poor in the concerto--she completely overwhelms the orchestra! Some listeners may think that she hammers out some of the pieces too mercilessly--she definitely imparts a strong personality!
