Playing the piano---a journery
on: February 26, 2009, 12:38:01 AM
Last week, when I posted this, I wanted to say something profound , but somewhere along the line, this post didn't mesh and I wanted to delete it, but I cannot.
Therefore, I have to convey something here afterall. We play piano everyday and do we take it for granted at times as we practice our pieces daily and many hours? It makes us aware of how we can express ourselves through our music; it's a journey that we embark throughout our lives; it's the impact on how our music would affect us and to those we perform for.

We all have better and worse days of practice. A students main focus, I think, should involve analyzing if there is improvement over a larger period of time. That's not always easy to do.
