Love of the piano!!!!

Ok, so I know this is a piano forum and all, but I was just wondering if anyone just completly loves the piano? I mean like they just drool over the instrument when they see one, or they would rather die than have the piano taken out of their life? I'm that way I just love the piano!!! it's one of my favorite things in the world, I even wrote a research paper on the piano, one time, complete with a fully drawn diagram!! lol!!! Anyhow I just thought it would be cool to hear some of your thoughts about the PIANO!!!!

I'm minimalistic. I do love the sound of it (classical music, as I don't like much other styles on the piano) and love to study it, but I'm not crazy about the instrument itself. I find the violin (I study this, too), prettier (little and cute  , with a tan and curvaceous).

The guitar is nice, too (I study it too) and, like the violin, you can take it with you on vacation. The piano is too heavy.

Yes, I love the piano, especially my Chickering grand,  because of the sound it produces as I play a variety of music( mostly classical).  Also, my other love, is the violin because of the resonance and the beauty of the instrument, and it is easier to carry around than piano!  (And by the way, I'm glad to know there are some violinists around the forum!  Perhaps we can do our own post here!) I think somewhere around here, there is another post about loving the piano.....

i love the piano, its my whole life now and without it i would truly be lost i would say.

i remember the first 4 months of me asking for a piano was a nightmare, i spent just about all day on a computer program that had a virtual piano the keys would correspond to the notes, actually learnt the first theme of fur elise like that then i started having withdrawal symptoms for a real piano, so everyday after school i would go to the music store and play on a stienway for a few hours. drove the sales people crazy LOL.

so after getting my piano in september 07, there hasnt been a day where i havnt played it.

I not completely mental about the instrument like obsessed by it, but I do appreciate its beauty in both its sound and the appearance in a well designed instrument. I love to look inside a grand piano and watch it in action, I love the way it looks so organised inside. Learning the piano has certainly helped me from becoming depressed and bored during my life, I couldn’t think of anything better to do with my spare time now .

Since I go my ( digital ) piano there hasn’t been many days where I never played it, even if it was just for a few mintutes. I can't wait to be able to get a lovely acoustic piano hopefully in the not too far future .

Yeah, I love the piano it comes me down alot, its my home away from home when I'm producing music.

Err... I don't think you'd love the piano THAT much if you're dealing with the pianos I practice on. Sometimes I think even a keyboard would be better.

i love the piano very much. After I practiced, I even don't wanna leave because I miss the piano. haha no matter how tired I am, i just wanna sit there and stare the piano. or maybe just playing the keys randomly and having fun with it.
