Songs about Spring...
on: March 01, 2009, 09:47:45 PM
The post on Rain got me thinking about Spring....so how about getting some numbers about Spring time: Spring Rain, in which I have already listed in the Rain post.
Spring by Vivaldi, which is part of the Four Seasons violin concerto,
Rite of Spring by Ravel(correct me if I'm wrong with composer),
To Spring, by Edvard Grieg,
Rustles of Spring, by Christian Sinding
Spring Song, by Mendelssohn

Wasn't Beethoven's 5th violin sonata nicknamed "Spring" Sonata or did only the Chinese name it that way?
Funny thing, I was listening to Rite of Spring when I saw this topic
