Don't you just get so frustrated sometimes with how much you suck at the piano!

I do, and am currently lol.

Yeah I do too, at times like that its best to get up and walk away, make a cup of tea, come back, and hope your hands will behave. :-\

Don't you just hate it when you play an emotionally sad piece and just as you come to the end of a meaningful phrase or the end, you cock up by playing the wrong chord and it totally ruins the effect you wanted to create >:(. AAAAAGGHHH

Yes! That's exactly what I mean.  It's so irritating, especially when there's absolutely no reason you should be hitting the wrong note.  :-[

Then there is the general frustration of just not being advanced enough.

Plus having a naff piano.

And no one to play to even when you do get it right.  ;)

It's a good job deep down I love it really haha.

Yeah it was happening to me when I was playing Chopin's prelude in C minor, I ended on C major at the end a few times and in the middle I keept playing some random chord and it just made it sound like some incidental music to a TV soap! :-[ :-X lol. Doesn't happen now though. 8)

Ha ha thats all true for me too! :D, I'm a beginner, I wish I was grade 8, I wish I had an acoustic piano as well as my Clavinova, and if I did decide to play in front of someone I would make a mistake :-X. But yes I have a love-hate relationship with my piano, although its mostly love :-*.

and once when i was about to make a recording of a waltz i´ve made, my sister came in and interupted  me , i think she said something like: "Dinner is ready"
it ruined the whole performance and the recording. Again i screamed and slammed the piano (this time an electronic piano). The funniest thing is that i still have it recorded. ;D

Yes, I get those "AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!" moments too. And I have two instruments for which I can feel "AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!". Like right now, for example, I have been suddenly asked to play for an orchestra because their viola section is practically nonexistent. I have to learn the part to an entire symphony. The concert is in less than a week, and there's a rehearsal today, and I'm going to FAIL. AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!
It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.

A world, in short, totally unlike our own.

Don't you just get so frustrated sometimes with how much you suck at the piano!
I have to admit that I have never sucked at a piano, since my love for the instrument has never quite extended to its taste (is a modern Bösendorfer more succulent and nourishing than a 1970s Steinway D?). If, on the other hand, one interprets the word "suck" as in the contemporary American parlance of your usage, I can tell you that I abandoned any risk of frustration of this kind that I might otherwise have suffered very early on when I came to realise (quite easily) that, whilst piano composition was something that I really wanted to pursue with the dedication of a pianist, piano playing was for pianists and I all too obviously had less than a snowball's chance in hell of becoming one of those...

Ha ha why don't you let us hear it, it would be funny :D. Did it record your voices or just the messed up notes? I thought digital pianos only record the data of how the keys are presed so I would think you could talk while playing and it wouldn't record your voice.

Argh, yes! It sucks because I am majoring in piano but people say I'm a better guitar player. (I suck at guitar too.) My guitar teacher had me play for the recital today, but my piano teacher didn't, it sucks!! Piano teachers suck mostly... I've been through 3 before this one. I honestly can't tell if it's my lack of talent or it's because I've been changing teachers and they don't know how to handle me and all.

And, indeed, as Ariel in "The Tempest" famously sang:

"Where the bee sucks there suck I:
In a cow-slips bell I lie;
There I crouch when owls do cry.

On a bat's back do I fly
after summer merrily,

Merrily, merrily shall I live now
Under the blossom that hangs on  the bough."

There was some pianist called Noda (I think) and he did this too. It even ended up on youtube.

No, I think you'll find it's tornados that suck. Tempests generally blow.

I like to get these things straight.

Who on earth is Kentaro Noda? And can I have some of what he took, please?

Professional etiquette and the discretion born of what Aldous Huxley once termed the "immomorial decencies" requires that my answer to the first of your two questions is "a Japanese person" and that to the second is that, since you can play Ronald Stevenson's Passacaglia on DSCH, you have in any case no need any such "assisting" substance, irrespective of whether or not Mr Noda may have taken one before playing as he did in the recording preserved on the tube...
