How long 'till Pianistimo returns?
on: March 05, 2009, 11:03:06 PM
I'm assuming she got banned again and will return after some time, just like she has in the past.  Can anyone provide some insight regarding Pianistimo's current standing in this forum?

I would be inclined to think that most people don't care either. She really didn't contribute anything lasting to the forum where it really counts, which is music. All she did was rant semi-coherently about religion or just whatever was on her mind at the time, which might or might not have made any sense to anyone but herself.

I tend to agree with you, but I hate to admit  - I found people's reactions to her posts amusing, how they got all worked up and how Pianistimo and everyone else fed off each other.  Maybe it's best if she didn't return after all...

Yeah, I think I am liking the atmosphere now. People aren't at each others' throats as a result of a flame war that was sparked by pianistimo's quasi-lectures on religion. Everything seems to be in a pretty good harmony now.

We'll just assume you've ran off to start a revival of the Baader-Meinhof Gang.

I will, actually. All you do in the music threads is "joke" about how much you hate modern classical music instead of discussing it.

I beg to differ there. She contributed quite a bit to the musical side of this forum, whether you read it or not. When I have more time I will drag up some of her posts to show you.
I have to admit I contribute barely anything to the musical side, simply because I don't have the knowledge that some people do. Where I can help, I do.

Surely the only way to try to find an answer to this question is send her a PM and hope for a response rather than discuss the relative merits or otherwise of her membership?

well if you actaully read about 75% of my posts in musical threads you would know that i discuss it. if you would like some examples of these feel free to ask for them

To return to the subject, on second thoughts, how can we be sure that she is away? Just because she doesn't post these days does not necessarily mean that she is not reaing what others post.

By the way, for the record, I do not know the answer to the question in any case.
