It's snowing !!!
on: March 08, 2009, 09:15:28 PM
And here I was thinking about Spring in my earlier post,  and the songs of Spring.....when the weather was real nice, well, it's snowing right now!
So if anyone in the forum can think of pieces about snow, (just for fun).
I'm going to be snowed in!!!      :D

    Vivaldi's  Four Seasons:  Winter
    Frosty the Snowman
Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow.......!
Yesterday was the day that passed,
Today is the day I live and love,Tomorrow is day of hope and promises...

Dear Ryan
I have often noted that you seem to write with authority about a wide range of reperotoire - I am very impressed by your wide knowledge. Are you, yourself, a pianist; and do you play Snowdrift yourself? The last time I heard this piece, it was played by Nicolas Hodges (superbly), who actually managed to memorise it. That man must have a big brain. Or at least he used to have a big brain: that was 15 years ago and he's now had a couple of kids. So I reckon memorising MF's pieces might take a back seat these days ...
