If you love what you do, then you'll always be happy!!  :) :) You can't let others, including me, tell you what possibilities are out there. Perhaps you can become World Famous or not famous at all!   :( But at least you can always say you tried!! 8)

I'll always love piano as the instrument with which i could express all my feelings during my life, and as a treatment when i was in a bad mood!
I just ask if Living BY piano(be a pianist)would be easy?
There are so many pianists out there so it would be difficult for me to seperate(??)From the others even if i was better than them!

Hi,

I have chosen to live as a performer.  I am auditioning for music schools and conservatories with my professor's and parents' blessing.

This is not an easy lifestyle.  The only thing that makes it possible is that I enjoy every minute of it [most of the time].  For if you want to be a performer it is practice every day.  And many times you will have to sacrifice many things that you will not want to.  I am not happy with some of the sacrifices that I have made, yet I am happy with the opportunities they have given me to grow better and better at piano.

If you have the motivation, the passion, and the discipline, then why not.  GO ahead and live by piano, yet if you are having doubts, then I would not suggest it.  Try it out for a few weeks, you will know whether you wish to perform or not for a living.

Best of luck to you whatever you decide to do.
