Hobbies: Ballroom dancing, archery,
As an example of the wisdom of pursuing one's hobbies separately, this is surely as good as any...

Play other instrument: Voice, and singing
..although in this instance it would be difficult to imagine the one without the other, surely?...

Best,

Alistair

No it aint! Plenty of people of the tube and radio that sing but have no voice. As one Dutch comedian one put it: "you can sing beautifully, it just exits your throat so rotten!".
But pianochick93 is a different matter, no doubt! ;)

In the long run, any words about music are less important than the music. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not worth talking to (Shostakovich)

Indeed it is a wonder that there are not more bloodied noses as a direct consequence of the wearers thereof falling forwards and breaking them...

Nonsense. I talk so much I consider my talking voice a seperate instrument to my singing voice.

First name: Jeniko
Age: 17
Date of birth: 1 May 1992
Place of Birth: Sydney, Australia
What the place is like: Currently, very chilly.
Occupation: High School Student
Handedness: Ambi
My greatest wish: To be able to play octaves more easily
I like: Winter
I hate: Chocolate

Piano / music related:
First stated with piano: 8 years old
Been playing for ( years / months ): 8 years. I had a one year hiatus due to lack of teacher.
Grade Level: I failed 8th grade. Woo ! Though, that was with an awful teacher. My current one is crazy. As in, good crazy.
Stretch: Comfortably: LH-octave, RH-major 7th. Uncomfortably: LH-Major 10th, RH-octave or Major 9th. Fast octave runs with the RH kills me.
Hardest piece you can play: Define 'hard' ?
Performances: Local concerts.
Competition: Local eisteddfords, Official annual school piano competition.
Musical Goal: To master an instrument from each section (i.e. brass, woodwind, string etc.)
Play other instrument(s): Flute, Percussion (If you start bagging out percussion, I'll be right at your door! Proud Principal Percussionist (PPP) in the school orchestra.), and double bass. Dabbled with the harp, though my shoulder started to hurt after a while. =/
Favourite composer(s): Francis Poulenc.
Favourite pianist(s): Yundi Li. Asian love, no? <3
Favourite piano(s): Steinberg. <3 But my baby grand Yamaha is good enough for me. <3333
Favourite piece(s): Tchaikovsky's Symphony No.5

I rawr at you.
