Hello,   I am not a fan of Rachmaninoff's music, but somehow, with your execution of this particular piece was gone with a light touch, especially when his pieces are usually heavy and deep.  I appreciate hearing your recording because, now I would like to learn this piece!  And being not a Rachmaninoff fan, indeed, you have made me one, well, at least on this piece!    Thank you!    :)  go12_3

Thanks go, I'm glad I convinced you to give Rachmaninoff another chance!  I will use this prelude to open the second half (which will be all Russian) of my upcoming graduate recital.

at 0:55 to 1:10 you should q substantial crescendo and at do and start another one at 1:26 to 1:54, from 1:59 to 2:04 try and bring out as little of the right hand as possible; and the whole piece could have been a little faster and i think more dynamics would be in order.
