Piano - Obviously But!... if I did decide to learn another of my favourite instruments it would be the cello and possibly the oboe? But yes the cello as that’s my other favourite after the piano, but I'm quite happy with learning just the one!
My thoughts exactly, except for the oboe part. I also love the sound of French horns and bassoons.
But the cello is really cool but probably too hard. The piano the best for me all the notes are laid out in fount of you, you just need to play then in the right order!
I admire people (like Go here) who can play the kind of strings instruments with no frets but the sound of the cello is so deep and full, and there's some sadness to it that tells me it'd sure be worth it =P
fair enough I'm not too sure about the oboe either but I guess its my favorite reed instrument if I had to pick one, has a more unique voice like sound then the clarinet. But the cello is really cool but probably too hard. The piano the best for me all the notes are laid out in fount of you, you just need to play then in the right order! ha ha I wanna learn the triangle!
My favorite instrument is the violin because of its beauty of the wood and its resonance----like singing. I can play pieces that uplifts me. There is something magical about how the bow moving across the strings can produce such sweet and wonderful sounds. And whenever I play my violin, those that hear it, smiles and becomes uplifted, emotionally and mentally. And that is gratifying for me as a violinist. best wishes, go12_3Nice answer go123...Its so dramatic...lol

my favourite instrument is violin except piano. when I hear violin voice, I feel comfort and I like both violin and piano duets very much
If you could play any instrument you wanted, what would it be?
And I'm thinking of learning to play recorder for about a year already but then I never have time but I will cause I have a recorder (cause my mum had to learn it a little cause she's a preschool teacher and she has to sometimes sing and play something for the kids too) and I also have a book about learning how to play a recorder.
My tip would be to learn the notes by practising scales (sames notes as piano scales), then play the melody of piano pieces you have. Don't spend hours, just learn notes, avoid working through recorder books in detail as you know a lot from the piano. If you like it, try and get advice from a performing recorder player about breathing & technique early on before you have time to learn bad habits.
