I'm in need of a new program!!
on: April 09, 2009, 07:50:45 PM
hello, there...I'm a new member on this forum.
As I feel I'm in need of good suggestions, I thought I could ask for your help.
I have been in a long pause of practising piano for a long time now..almost 3 years. I like to restart, but I'm not sure of the pregram. What I need are three pieces: 1. a polyphonic piece by Bach,2. a Beethoven sonata, and 3.an etude by any composer.
Any ideas??
I know there are a lot, but let's say I need something to get me in the right track...not only technical exercises, and schales..
Thank you!!

Since you haven't played in a while, a Bach invention may be good polyphony to begin with. Maybe op. 79 for a Beethoven sonata? And I guess you could look into the Burgmuller etudes. But then again, it depends on how advanced you were when you left off...

It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.
A world, in short, totally unlike our own.
