let's have a chat!
on: November 05, 2002, 09:09:09 AM
We need to have a chat!! Could someone please take it up as a project to schedule a time and place? I'm too computer illiterate to do it. Most of us are in the States, so I'm hoping that we could schedule one during the evening hours, and also maybe schedule one during the day, so that the others don't have to get up in the middle of the night just to chat! LET'S DO IT!! I feel like I know you guys anyway, but I want to talk to you on chat!

There are multiple chat rooms on the internet that we could go to, but I really think that it would be easier if anyone who wanted to chat would download AOL's Instant Messenger. That way, we could have an on-going thing, and nobody would have to get up in the middle of the night, or worry about time zones, etc. If there are enough interested parties, I can post directions for downloading, or you can just go to the website
www.aol.com
it's pretty simple to use!!!

Its not that difficult, all we need to do is make a time so that most members would make it and like to take part, and willing to download or already have chat programs, icq, aim, msnmessenger etc... I haven't been coming here as regularly as I like, unfortunately, I've been busy with exams, now I'm free(er) so anyone like to suggest a time, since you guys are mostly from either europe or america oui? and as MzrtMusic suggested, aim (aol's instant messenger) is good for chat...

I have suggested a chat twice, and I need one of you to take the initiative to get the ball rolling. I know that I have downloaded Yahoo IM and MSN Messenger. Myself, I prefer not to download AOL too. Maybe we could start by taking a poll and seeing who has Yahoo and who has MSN, and take it from there. Does anyone want to be in charge of this?
