Plus, the word,  "glasses"  and I'm sure as time goes by, members will find more words that won't spell in chat.  The word "classes", ends up like this:  "cl arses"  with a space between the  l and the a, interesting?

Nils is in chat room now and is correcting the word problem....some kind of bug that he has to fix.  So circumstances, classes,  and glasses, and whatever with those letters, will be back to normal......lol

Now that the chat is open, I entered  a moment ago, to find  a member that said Hi and how are you, and then puts an ignore sign up.  So I wonder again, where is the civility?  This member won't speak to me, but I just have to GO on my way OUT of chat room!

Clicking a link in chat gets all the text underlined.

I have problems logging in half the time, and have to refresh.

Just now, the box with the member list turned white.

The ignore messages tend to freeze the whole thing.

There is no save chat option.

And it seems that debussy symbolism is back.

Yes, I am aware of these problems but hope you can live with it for a while.
We are waiting for another upgrade of the chat software. Sorry for not bringing any better new right now.

Has the option to use an IRC-based chat been considered? I really think all of the problems would go away if it were used. It would also be much quicker to load.

I think the problem could be from a member's server.  Sometimes the computer gets overloaded and has a tendency to have problems.  I haven't had any problems in entering and exiting the chat room.  Sure, there are some *bugs* to take care of, but  some of the words which were indicated earlier in this thread are already fixed.  Nils is aware of the problems now and is looking into it.

You mean their computer? Servers are way bigger and faster. Could be some kind of connection issue as some work and others don't...

could be...depends upon whether the wireless signal is strong or weak in your area for connection issues

Yeah, I am still having problems with the chat software's speed, and I suspect that there are others. This is perhaps dissuading people from entering the chat. I really think a lighter chat software (an IRC-based one that I've suggested many times) should be used just for speed and simplicity's sake. Now that I think of it, it might be all of the emoticons, smilies, and other special features that are slowing down the chat room enormously. All of those bells and whistles aren't necessary, really, and seem to be more trouble than they're worth.

I wonder if some of the members experience this lately.   When I enter into chat room, nothing happens , I get a white screen plus I can hear the blinging of my entering chat room, but I am not in there yet!      And then I have to navigate to the chat page site, then try to re-enter chat room and hopefully , I can enter.      It's hard enough trying to GO into a room when I couldn't even GO in there in the first place.  I don't know if it's my system(I'm on dial-up by the way, which sucks, but affordable) or the chat room system not booting up as well.   But once I go through the *entering process*, then the rest of the day, there is no problem.  As recall, last night, a member had a problem in entering chat room, and he had to do the twice over entrance affair also.

No, it isn't pianistimo.  I really don't know for sure.  It's a guy from Canada, but being the Internet, it's
hard to tell with members here on who and where they are from.

I heard some members got stuck in the chatroom just before it got shutdown and now they're stuck in there.  Forever.  That's why you don't see them on the forum anymore.  

Moral:  Don't go looking around in strange chatrooms you don't know anything about.
