Can you show me where it says that?  I can't find it in mine.

The only thing that comes close is one solitary passage where Paul says all scripture is worthy of study. 

One could conclude from the number of times Jesus quotes scriptures that He must have considered them valuable.  Problem is, He quotes ONLY the Old Testament, and includes quotes from some books like Enoch that the Protestant churches have mostly discarded.
