Suite Triumph
on: May 02, 2009, 12:25:05 AM
Here's a suite I improvised today...several good things have been going on in my life lately and appear to be coming together, so I felt kind of triumphant, hence the name. Enjoy  :)

Suite Triumph on pianoteq
Thanks for your comment Pianowolfi. I found a wonderful piece of software called Pianoteq....I downloaded the demo version and made a new version of "Suite Triumph" using it. Since it is the demo version it takes out a handful of black notes, but amusingly I don't think it is even noticable. There's one climactic melody note in one part that is omitted, that's all I noticed. *edit* now that I know which black notes are omitted, there are actually quite a few places that sound odd.

Anyway, what a difference! I think I shall start making all my recordings with midi and making conversions with this software. Have a listen...

I loved this Derek!

There were times when I felt you created the same atmosphere as found in Chopin's 3rd Sonata.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
