I did not like what you did with the introduction. I think it should be played very staccato and not held and I don't think you played it mysteriously enough. But I liked the rest of it. You seemed to have no trouble technically.

a slower introduction would be nice... it makes it more thematic
like the curtain being pulled opened before the performance

it is quite good though :)

surely if you continue studying this piece a few more months it will sound amazing!

Nice work, Mikhail. :)  I would play the opening very staccato, as marked.  You're hardly using the pedal, too.  Technique is stellar as usual.

How long have you been working on this?  Looking forward to the whole thing. :)

I've been working on this for about a month, ever since I got my piano exam score (A-, Bach prelude "too fast".)

I agree that it needs much more pedal, that's where all the color is. When I have the whole thing, I will post it. Maybe it will even be a live recording..........
