Liapunov Rhapsody on Ukranian Theme

I just made this thread for two reasons:

1) To discuss what people think of it
 
2) to make people aware of this beautiful little gem

Some people (like my teacher) say its too simple and barbaric in its composition, but so what. Since when did something have to be complex in structure to arouse emotions. I love this little concerto, especially the second "movement" (the allegretto scherzando) and the last movement the Allegro Giocoso. And the theme from the first movement, a piece of it sounds SO much like a part of the theme from rachmaninov's 3rd (like 36-40 seconds into the the piece)
