Hello Adam,

Yes, I remember your old post searching for musicians in the Houston area to collaborate on new music and improvisation. What an interesting idea, one I'd surely have considered had I been in the Houston area. How has that gone? How is that going?

Your improvisation has lots of unharnessed energy, like an angry bull at a rodeo. It reminds me of some of my own from 7 or 8 years ago, which I'll occasionally observe on the old tapes...if you continue recording improvisations, and I hope you do no matter what the quality might be, you'll see how your sound worlds change over time, elements kept and lost, and outside influences.

You're certainly welcome to post more of your insights across this forum. :)

Dave

Thanks for your reply.  Currently I am finishing up my degree and the ensemble is on hold for a bit.  It is difficult to start an ensemble while still in school (in another state nonetheless).  But I have not given up.  Actually there is a facebook group devoted to some of my ideas about music that you should check out if you are interested.

Also there is a temporary in-the-works website for the ensemble:

HoustonNewArtsMovement.Art.officelive.com

Again, thanks for your reply.
