Does anyone know where I can get a copy of these?

You can hire the Fourth Concerto via the publisher Joseph Weinberger ( i might have spelt this wrong).

If you want all four, you need to get permission from the Bowen family via their solicitors. You can then request copies from the Royal Academy of Music in London. After about 2 months and $300 you will get a disk with all the images of the manuscripts. Bowen had a neat hand and they are easily readable.

I can fish out the details of the Solicitors, if you are as mental as i am to spend this kind of money on copy manuscripts.

I think for 300 I won't really bother! Much and all that I would like to have them I have very limited financial resources! Maybe in a few years...

Thanks very much anyway!

May I ask, roughly how many scores do you have in your seemingly endless and vast collection?

No idea really, but i have started to produce a list of works for piano and orchestra that i have compiled with the help of some very helpful friends (as well as librarians), that would indicate about 940.

Wow, there's a lot of stuff in there I didn't think you would like. You must just collect them for the sake of collecting them (I do that too). There's also a lot of stuff in there I'd like to get my hands on, heh. However, it does make me feel good to know that there are a lot of things I have that you don't (which I didn't think was possible!).

Btw, Thal, have you seen this?
