Fortress of Illusion

I would like to introduce members to a new work for piano duo which I wrote earlier this year. It is loosely based on a Persian folktale, which is a metaphor the spiritual quest.
I have created a video scrolling score at https://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=7204523143BB560E with the some quite credible MIDI piano samples. It lacks the expressivity of a human performance but is nonetheless useful for auditioning the piece.
There are 3 movements. I have to admit that the first movement, in particular, is technically challenging, but it really sounds effective.

Id be very interested in supporting a performance if anyone here feels brave enough to attempt it.
Contact me if you want a printed score.

I enjoyed the outer movements of this work very much and while the middle movemnet certainly wasn't bad in any way I felt the pointillistic theme didn't allow your harmonies to shine. Your harmonic language is very beautiful and striking. I don't currently have a duo partner but I'm wondering about your solo pieces. I will look through your youtube site, perhaps I'll find them there.

Very beautiful and intense music.  8)

Thanks for your kind remarks. The overall effect, particularly of the middle movement, would be completely different played by live musicians, as I hope it one day will be. The inevitably-mechanical character of MIDI mean that it bears only a literalistic relationship to the effect of human performance.
