What play?
on: June 11, 2009, 01:43:53 PM
Hi Folks

I'm writing a review on a piano passion day I've attended last month... but of all the plays, I can't remember this one... I have it somewhere in my library but can't seem to find it... can anyone help with the name of this piece?
BTW pianist is François-Joëlle Thiollier, and I think we were all amazed about what he did on this Steinway... thanks!

Some left-hand piece. Maybe Ravel's concerto in D major or Prokofiev's concerto no.4 ... or maybe rachmaninoff's 3rd concerto for the left-hand! Haha I'm kidding this is obviously fur elise by chopin/godowsky ... godowsky put all the notes in the left-hand ! Unbeliveable...

It's the "Prelude & Nocturne" op.9 , by Scriabin.

I think it was obvious it was a joke... the proper comment is "hahaha" or "lol" or something like that.
