Pianos sold as new
on: June 16, 2009, 08:10:41 PM
Can anyone tell me is it normal for a piano shop to sell a  piano as new though its manufactured in 2001/2? I bought this piano as new in Feb 2009 checked the serial number with the maker and they told me it was built in 2001/2.. Is this correct practise?

It is possible the piano could have been on the dealer floor all that time.   You being the first person who was interested in taking it home.  Thus calling it a new piano, as you were the first owner of the piano.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
