I'm reading an interesting book by Noam Chomsky, 'What We Say Goes'.  It dates from a few years back, but nothing has changed.  Doesn't matter a whit what the Iranian people want, it only matters what the US wants.  Hasn't this been proven in South America countless times?  And polls conducted outside the US always come up with the same results: the US is the biggest threat to world peace.  And on 4 July, Americans will bask in it.

Simple, civil war is the only result in this situation.
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour. - "William Blake"
